Mechanism of cure

There is no known mechanism of cure in homeopathy although several theories are popular. One says that the remedy supplies a gentle nudge to the immune system so that it may complete a curative response that it didn’t have the energy for before. Another says that the remedy is close enough to the vibration pattern of the disease so that it nullifies its action.

It is not in the nature of a vitalist to ask for the mechanism of cure if the law that governs the cure is known. But as long as homeopaths need that acceptance by the traditional medical community, we will look for it so as to attempt to placate our colleagues or satisfy our guilt.
