Drug pictures to role play
Tell the group of people to look for up to ten keynote symptoms of the
patient and write down notes as the case is being taken. Have someone who has
had some acting experience or someone who just wants to be an actor use these
symptoms to be the patient as you go around the room and let each person ask
non-leading questions about the case. The "patient" should try to
emphasize the bullets without just saying the words. After about twenty
questions, the "patient" should offer things that haven't been touched
on. After a few more clarifying questions the group should take a minute and
review their notes, underlining or rewriting the symptoms that they think are
the key symptoms. Compare their answers to the list below.
