Antidote by aromatherapy?

1/15/97

I set out to prove the hypothesis that 'antidotion occurs' by sharing clients with an aromatherapy colleague, basically to see if we could antidote each other's cases. This came about because there are two alternative clinics within a hundred yards of my house (I practice from home) and clients will do the rounds of all the different therapies on offer, no matter what any practitioner says. It is common place here to find that clients go straight from the homeopath to the aromatherapist and vice versa - if they know you don't approve, they just don't tell you!!

We have shared clients for 8 years and guess what - we can't antidote each other's work! In all cases, the two disciplines have enabled and facilitated treatment in each client, often working symbiotically and beautifully together. The oils acted to compliment and follow on well from the remedies and vice versa. Gaining in confidence over this time, she phoned me one day to ask if she could use camphor - it was indicated in her opinion. I had given a remedy days before. I said go ahead - use it! There was no bumpy ride, no stalling, no interruption of the clients case, just simple clear recovery following the law of cure. I have many cases illustrating this, and not just with camphor.

I might believe in antidotion if I ever saw it - and I don't think its because I'm always that good at getting perfect simillimums that go straight through every time. In a busy practice it is not possible to be that good day in day out. The only case I've ever seen here the case stopped dead (antidoted a very clear amelioration) was when the client stopped the reaction dead with her mind - NO!
