Homeopathy is the administering of similar wholly foreign agents to diseased conditions. Introduced by Dr. Lux in 1823 who along with Hering taught that the toxins were capable of a cure.

Nosode remedy prepared from the morbid product of disease. Psorinum, Syphilinum and Tuberculinum are principle nosodes. Ambra grisea although not classed by pharmacists as a nosode is a diseased animal product.
