MILLER, Monica

Monica is a legal health lobbyist who runs the Health Lobby web site. She also is in charge of Government Relations for the Foundation for the Advancement of Innovative Medicine. She was primary lobbyist and grassroots organizer in the campaign which led to the passage in 1994 of the New York State Alternative Medical Practice Act. She has participated in other successful lobby efforts for health freedom: Colorado in 1997; Texas in 1998 Louisiana in 1999; Minnesota and Ohio in 2000. She was a featured speaker at the International Congress on Alternative and Complementary Medicine in Washington DC in 1995, 1996 and a Plenary speaker there in 1997.

»MIRMAN, Jacob

M.D., CTHom, DHt, CCH, MFHom, DNBHE. Dr. Mirman is a board certified internist. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. His initial homeopathic training was with the Faculty of Homeopathy in London, England. He followed this program with a series of preceptorials with several internationally renowned homeopaths. He continued his studies by attending the ESSH School of Homeopathy in Flagstaff, Arizona. Dr. Mirman is a founding member and Registrar of Minnesota Homeopathic Association and a member of the board of directors of the ESSH School of Homeopathy. He resides with his wife and two children in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has a web site.

Morrell, Peter

(1950 - ) BSc PGCE MPhil. Medical historian, who has taught Life and Environmental Sciences since 1975 at Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent. A Zoology graduate from University of Leeds, in 1999 he received an MPhil in History and Sociology from Staffordshire University for a thesis on the history of British homeopathy. In 1998 he was elected Hon. Research Associate, History of Medicine by the university. He learned homeopathy in 1978 from a student of the late veterinarian, George McLeod, and practiced throughout the 1980s. Author of many articles on published on HomeoInt and linked to from this site. He has a web site there also.

Moskowitz, Richard, MD

(1938 - ) Received B.A. from Harvard in 1959, and my M.D. from New York University in 1963. After a Graduate Fellowship in Philosophy at the University of Colorado, he completed his internship at St. Anthony's Hospital in Denver, and has practiced general family medicine since obtaining his license in 1967. Became interested in natural therapies in 1970 as part of his home birth practice. Practiced homeopathic medicine since 1974, studied with George Vithoulkas in Greece, Rajan Sankaran and colleagues in India, and others. He lectures and teaches seminars and courses on homeopathy and related subjects.
