American Association of Homeopathic Pharmacists |
The A.A.H.P., founded in 1923, is the largest trade organization of the American homeopathic industry, representing over 70% of the manufacturing and distributing companies in the U.S., with connections to other manufacturers overseas. The A.A.H.P. routinely meets with the FDA, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF). The association sponsors pharmaceutical industry seminars as part of their Compliance Through Education program. Our on-going public relations campaign is intended to heighten public and professional awareness of homeopathy in general, and the A.A.H.P. in particular. We are also distributing a booklet on Homeotherapy: Definitions and Therapeutic Schools. The A.A.H.P. is primarily a trade association of homeopathic manufacturers and distributors. The association holds two membership meetings a year in conjunction with major health food trade shows. Members receive a monthly newsletter, Network News, keeping them aware of issues affecting the homeopathic industry. |

Council for Homeopathic Certification (CHC) |
CA | A Californian group established
around 1996 with the aim of establishing a set of minimum criteria to assess
homeopathic competency. The exam is available to all takers-licensed and
unlicensed. The folks who started it were a cross-section of practitioners.
In the years since its inception, it has become a good standard. Those who
pass the exam can use the initials CCH-Certified in Classical Homeopathy.
