The NCAHF is a small group of about six men who could be best described as activists for the established medical practice. Previous or current members include: William Jarvis, Ph.D., Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, CA; Stephen Barrett, MD, retired (now non-licensed) psychiatrist and dentist, who posts on the usenet group misc.health.alternative with a Dr. Stephen Harris, Jet Silver; David Wright, Allentown, PA, Victor Herbert, MD, Veteran's Hospital in the Bronx, NY; Benjamin Wilson, MD, surgeon, Salem OR, John Renner, MD from Kansas City, MO (deceased); and Wallace Sampson.

Stephen Barrett has been in the news lately but not for his good. Check out the case he's been working on at JuriMed. More bad news for Dr. Barrett can be found at Health Freedom Law's web site.
